Our final open gardens of the year are on Saturday 21st and Sunday 22nd June (11.00-5.30). One of the main attractions now are the wild flowers, particularly in the orchard where there are many varieties to see, including Spotted and Greater Butterfly Orchids. Amongst other attractions are flowering dogwoods, many flowering shrubs, Japanese maples and many unusual trees. This is a great time to enjoy the tranquillity of Heathercombe’s natural environment, its streams, ponds and woodland walks – and ‘our’ cuckoo! – taking advantage of our many benches and three summer houses. Visitors are welcome to bring a picnic – and their dogs!
