Now is probably the best time to see our large collection of colourful Rhododendrons and Azaleas, while swathes of Bluebells are still looking lovely in the Park, the woodland walk to the Lower Lake and in the Orchard (where many domestic apple and crab apple trees are in blossom – notably the Malus hupehensis by Heathercombe North).  Lilacs, Laburnums and some flowering Dogwoods are now flower, as are lots of Welsh poppies! There are sculptures to enjoy and amuse – and ‘our’ cuckoo!
