SELF CATERING GROUPS

The High Heathercombe Centre is situated at 1250 feet, high in the Dartmoor National Park, on the edge of woodlands and adjoining the open moor.
The centre is set in six acres of it’s own grounds and is ideally located for exploring Dartmoor’s beautiful landscapes and wildlife.
The centre is run on a charitable basis by the High Heathercombe Trust, formed in 2001.
High Heathercombe has a resident manager, and is regularly inspected by the District Council and Dartmoor Tourist Association

ACCOMMODATION

The purpose built, centrally heated centre can accommodate groups of up to 25 people in six bunk bedrooms.
There is a large comfortable sitting / dining room with an open fireplace.
Adjacent to the dining room is a well-equipped kitchen where all visitors’ meals are freshly prepared on site.
The centre has a shower room with four cubicles, a washroom and two toilets.
Separate from the main building is the Forest Room, which is a large recreational/ workshop space. There are two toilets and a small kitchen in this building.

Our minimum group size is 10, and 15 on all Bank Holidays.

The High Heathercombe centre offers a range of self catering opportunities to youth, community and charitable groups.
In addition to our self- catering facilities, we offer bespoke packages designed to meet the needs of individual groups.
Camps, facilitated activity sessions and fully/partailly catered options are available.
