THE HIGH HEATHERCOMBE CENTRE

The High Heathercombe Centre is situated at 1250 feet in the Dartmoor National Park, adjoining the open moor and surrounding woodlands.
The Centre is run on a charitable basis by the High Heathercombe Trust, and has a resident manager.
High Heathercombe is evolving as a vibrant, utilised community space, offering a wide range of people access to experience the beautiful Dartmoor landscape.
We offer diverse opportunities for groups and individuals to explore themselves and the wider world, through education, positive creative experience, and the acquisition of new skills, whilst enjoying the benefits of community experience and interaction with the natural environment.
We offer self-catering facilities to youth, community, environmental and other charitable or voluntary sector groups.
Additionally, we run targeted programmes specifically designed to meet the remit of key local organisations, working with children, young people and adults with additional support needs, in the South West.
The High Heathercombe Centre runs a wide public programme of events and courses throughout the year, including: Creative Family Weeks and Bushcraft Camps, Retreats, Arts and Crafts courses, Permaculture Design Training and Volunteer Weeks.  Our public courses and events are open to all and concessionary places are available.
Please see our programme page for more course details.
